Our lodge is built with heart: every room and space is personally decorated by our father, blending comfort with authentic, handcrafted charm. Meet Fili, the heart of our kitchen and the soul behind every comforting meal at Mena Fly Fishing. After years of working side-by-side as our second cook, Fili stepped up when our longtime chef retired — and he’s been delighting guests ever since. Each day, he prepares a full meal plan with carefully selected options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, always using the freshest local ingredients and proteins. More than just cooking, Fili takes the time to personally ask each guest what they’d like to eat, offering flexibility to adapt ingredients while preserving the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine. His meals are a perfect blend of warmth, flavor, and authenticity — just like being welcomed into a family home.
